You know as I get older I realize that I am getting older. I know it sounds silly, but I sit and listen to people all day talk about certain things and act certain ways. As I am listening to them I realize that I used to be like them. And then I realize how much I can't stand them. I'm glad that I'm older know and I know the important things in life. So here are a few of my rules for life right now. This is not to say that in five years they might be slightly altered or completely different, but that this is where I am right now.
1. Love is above all. No matter how many different ways you look at it, a little love goes a long way. Some of you won't understand the significance of being in love until later - but to have a horrible day and know that you'll be seeing the one you love soon, makes everything just melt away.
2. Family is important. They'll most likely support you in all you do - no matter what happens. They'll be there through the hard times and the good times, so always keep them close in your heart.
3. Live your life! My goodness, don't sit back watching life pass you by. Do what you want to do - be who you want to be and don't let anything stop you.
4. What other people think is irrelevent. The people who matter most to you and care the most for you, support you. Those who don't care for you - THEIR OPINION DOES NOT MATTER! Stop worrying so much about what other people think and stop trying to make them happy. Make yourself happy and the happiness will follow you.
5. Saying what you feel is best. You should always say what you feel and not hide any feelings. If something upsets you, say it. If something makes you happy say it. If you have an opinion about something, don't be afraid to voice it.
The list of people that I wish I could say grow up to expands daily. Sadly I think some of them might never grow up. Today's society has turned today's youth into a bunch of self centered, gossiping, children who care nothing about the good of the world. Ugh. I'm tired. Goodnight.
